Karius

Karius is a diagnostics company focused on generating genomic insights for infectious diseases. Microbes infecting different parts of the human body leave traces of their DNA in blood, known as microbial cell-free DNA (mcfDNA). The Karius Test uses novel genomics and AI approaches to identify and measure the mcfDNA of more than 1,000 clinically relevant pathogens (including bacteria, fungi, DNA viruses, and parasites) from a single blood draw, helping doctors to make rapid treatment decisions. The Karius laboratory is CLIA-certified and CAP-accredited to perform high-complexity clinical laboratory testing.
